I have been on birth control pills (Maitalon 20) for about 6 months now. I have never delayed my period before, but this week I have to. I have just finished my 3 week time of taking the pills, and today should be the first day of the break week. However, I know I should keep taking the pills this week if I want to postpone my period, but what do I do once the week is over? Do I then only wait 2 weeks (to finish the pack as normal) to go on a break again? Or do I mess the entire cycle up and have to wait another 3 weeks (so the 2 remaining weeks of the pack plus 1 of a new one) to go on a break? I don't know if this makes sense. I live in Germany and it is difficult to communicate this with my gyno so I thought I would come here.
