I Have Been On Premarin For 17 Years As I

I have been on premarin for 17 years as I had a full hysterectomy.
I couldn't afford my refill and have not taken for the past 3 weeks. Is this dangerous? Do I need to be on this medicine forever? I am now 47 years old. The first side effect I noticed when stopping was how sensitive my breasts were, but the latest issue I've been having is my right hand falling asleep/tingling/numb that it wakes me up in the middle of the night and it doe snot just go away . . . it takes at least an hour and a half.
