I have been on pristiq for two months 25 mg and have been reducing clonazepam for the last 6 weeks. I was taking 2 mg of clonazepam for 4 years with mirtazapine 15 at bedtime and wanted to get off of clonazepam . I have had headaches since reducing my last dosage of clonazepam and am on 1.25mg now. I started taking .25 mg away every two and was ok with some headaches after reducing but this reduction from 1.5 to 1.25 seems to have cause me headaches almost every other day for the last two weeks. I am also transitioning into menopause and have more hot flashes and that seems to be when the headaches tend to start. I am on 25mg of Pristiq, 1.25 clonazepam and 15 mg of mirtazapine. Would like your opinion. Does pristiq have tendency to cause headaches? Thank you!
