I Have Been On Seizure Medication For 7 Years At

I have been on seizure medication for 7 years at the same dose and have had no seizures during this time. I recently got a new doctor due to change in insurance and she is requiring me to be seen every 3 months in order to continue to prescribe the medication (Keppra 1000mg BID). Prior to this insurance plan and this physician, I received a prescription for 12 months of the medication and since I am otherwise healthy, it is rare for me to be evaluated by a physician more than my once a year appointment. Is there some reason that I am unaware of that would make me need to be evaluated more frequently when I do not have any symptoms? If not, how to I go about finding a provider who will be comfortable seeing me only once per year?
