I have been on ultram for pain management, and it works great. I go to work, and I've been doing really well. My pain management dr. just retired without notice, now I can't get in to see anyone new, and the ones I do call are all injection doctors; which I've had 2 series, and they have not worked. I have severe scoliosis, and nerve damage. I'ld be glad to find a real fix, but I have been to see two Orthapedic doctors twice who looked at my MRI (one with and one without contrast) and they just say I have a bulging disc and it doesn't look that bad, and if the pain medicine is working; keep going with that. This has happened twice to me so since the medicine has been working I've just been soldiering through ok. Now 1) I can't get into see anyone 2) my primary doctor doesn't want to prescribe the Ultram because he's not a pain management doctor, so in like 1 week I'm going to be out of medicine, and no pain management doctor, and no help. My goal is to fix the problem, but I can't see to find a doctor who can figure out what is wrong with my back. It's very localized. I can literally point to the exact spot on my back where the pain is and coming from. Same pain, same place, every day for 10 years, non stop. I really think there has to be something pushing on or squeezing a nerve. When I say this to the doctors, they all say "maybe" and that's it.
