I Have Been Referred To Get An MRI By An

I have been referred to get an MRI by an ENT specialist. First attempt I was in the smaller tube; panicked and had to reschedule to be sedated. Second appointment 3 weeks later I was given the max dosage of 15 mg. of valium; did not take in effect within the desired time (30 mins.), again I panicked and had to be taken out. I tried 2 more times during my appt. and absolutely could not continue the process. I have been hearing sound waves, buzzing, noises that sound like a heart beat and sounds of a car when accelerating speed for 6 mos. now. I believe I have a phobia for MRI's. Is there another solution to getting an MRI for this type of procedure without the coil or being sedated? Can they put me to sleep?
