I have been taking 1200mg. of gapapentin for at least 5 years. I have issues with sore throat, weight gain etc. Is it posssible that a can get off of this medication. I started taking it for pain in my leg. I also take Propranlol 120mg everyday for high blood pressure. I would like to stop taking some of this medication. I can not or will not take any statins. Thanks for any help. Karen
