I Have Been Taking 50mg Tramadol Hcl Usually Once Daily

I have been taking 50mg Tramadol hcl usually once daily at night for about 5 years now for chronic back pain. When I'm having a bad few days, I will take up to 3 a day. For the past year, my liver enzymes have been elevated and I'm researching whether or not this medication may be the cause. I am 58, not greatly obese but I am about 30 lbs overweight with most of it in my waistline. I do get some daily exercise by walking; however, I am sedentary in my employment. I'm thinking it may be a combination of the medication and my weight. I used to be very disciplined about weight and exercise when younger and am working my way back to a disciplined, healthy lifestyle including more intense and extensive exercise. Hope to see better results in three-six months. If enzymes do not come down by then, what should be my next test? Thank you in advance.
