I have been taking Paxil 10 mg for about a week and a half and have lost 4 lbs, have no desire to eat. I had the best appetite in the world. I am not going to take the Paxil tonight and speak to my doctor in the morning - hopefully. Also I have low energy and am very tired. I hope that missing one night of the medication will not cause me withdrawal symptoms. Are there any other medications for depression that do not have these side effects? My son is going through a divorce and that is the reason for my depression. Once things return to normal, I feel I will be fine.
