I have been taking Septra DS for 10 days for a staph infection and the doctor wants me to take Septra DS for another 10 days. I can't hear as well as I did before I started taking Septra DS. I told the doctor about the hearing issue but she said it should not cause hearing loss. I also asked the pharmacist and he said it should not cause hearing loss but I just read on WebMD that Hearing Loss is a Less Severe side effect. Will the hearing loss side effect be temporary?What should I do?
