I Have Been Taking A Lot Of Baths Lately And

I have been taking a lot of baths lately and last Saturday i felt a bad burning sensation (tip of penis). The burning went away Sunday but ever since i have the feeling I'm about to bust open. I went to the doctor and he did a dipstick that tested negative for bacteria. He still sent it off for culture. Could the dipstick be wrong?
