I have been throwing up for over 30 years that I can remember. It was so bad when I was pregnant in 1983 I couldn't even hold water on my stomach and I was in the hospital for over two months, while in the hospital I temporarily lost my memory and my sight, they say I was hemorrhaging in my eyes. They also treated me for yellow gitis. I don’t know what they did but it stopped for a while and only came back when I have a cold or virus.
It has now come back full force for the last two to three years i have been throwing up at least five out of seven days a week. I even changed my diet and i still threw up.
My doctors would always say it’s an infection or virus and give me antibiotics, nothing helped
They even tried to say that i was making myself throw up but I wasn't and I never have.
Last year they finally sent me to a GI specialist and he diagnosed me with gastroperesis
And told me there is no cure but he could give me something to help manage it that would mess with my nervous system and have my body twitching in the face and maybe other area's and he says this medicine hasn't been approved by the FDA, so he would have to order it from another county.
Then he said i could get a gastric pacemaker and the surgeon said I could only get that if I was a diabetic.
So I'm still throwing up, sometimes I get so tired I stay in the bed for 1-3 days only getting up to go to the bathroom and I still throw up.
And on top of it I am not losing any weight.
So they went from a virus to Gastroperesis with no help.
I don't have my records yet but I have ordered them
