I Have Been To See A Gynecologist As I Am

I have been to see a gynecologist as I am having pain during intercourse and I was bleeding heavily for a long period of time. They swapped my pill which stopped the bleeding. And did a scan which showed fluid in my ovary. They said my cervix was closed and to use a dilator until my follow up in January but recently the bleeding has started again lightly and I am having trouble sitting down as it pains and feels as if there is something stuck and I get the urge to push. Just wondering if I need to go back before January or if there is anything I can get to help with this.
