I have been to the Dr twice. Yesterday and the day before.I had stomachs pain and blood in my stools. I already have in a, but in about a year's time I got much worse and kept blaming it on the in a. I'm 56 year old female.disabled with many other problems. I've lost 40 lbs in a year and now way 118' I'm 5'7 so cannot afford to lose anymore.at the hospital they did a ct scan with barium.they said I have colitis of the descending colon.I was given two antibiotics and told to follow up with the v.a. where I get my care.went yesterday because of the pain and the bleeding.they filled my scripts and took blood and read the results of the ct scan from the day before and to follow-up with my pc dr. On Monday. Will the two antibiotics they put me on get rid of the terrible pain. And are there any foods to avoid?I'm afraid to eat because of the pain.I'm also pretty dehydrated.any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.thank you so much.I don't have an email address. Is there a charge for this?because. I cannot pay.
