Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been to the dr over and over about the neck... they don't know what it is and have never heard of it. when I swallow when having my neck a certain way. I feel a clicking in my throat. it could be a result of me digging in my throat when I was afraid that I felt a knot inside. (there was no lump inside) I had lymphoma over 3 1/2 yrs ago. They did a scan and also an ultra sound of my neck but the dr, says that I am fine and that they do not know what that is. it is now starting to bother me more. I a m waking up with my neck on the inside hurting occasionally and it causes pressure to a specific area in my forehead and also causes headaches in that particular area. it almost fees like tension headaches. it is also starting to impact the nerves in that side causing my eye to jump frequently. they have done a ct scan and also a pet scan , and a ultra sound of my neck and nothing. I'm not sure what to do. I know that too many scans can be bad for you because it is continuous exposure to radiation.. WHAT TO DO??? Also during the ultrasound the tech said that she could see what I was feeling but she could not understand why I was feeling it. she then said that there was a lymph node. a normal size lymph node rubbing between two muscles in my neck. But the dr.'s never mentioned it and when I mentioned to the ENT, he just said that they did not see anything and that everything looks great including blood count... what should I do? how do I address this issue? Has anyone heard of this befor? what was the result? Thanks in advance!!
