Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been told I have an injured thumb joint capsule--six years now. I have been to a hand physical therapist, orthopedist and chiropractors. My chiropractor wants to see it twice a week and position hand bones, ligaments and break up adhesions. So now I'm putting tape at base of thumb. I feel I will need to tape it the rest of my life. At first it was very weak and the pain has been severe with use. Why do medical people call it arthritis and act like I'm a nut, when I really am disabled? YYYY@YYYY
