Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been trying to conceive a second child for eight years now, while being tested to get ready for IVF i found out I was pregnant. I just had a miscarriage last week. This is my third miscarriage. Two before my daughter and this one. I think I may have autoimmune progesterone dermatitis. I get a rash mostly on my stomach but sometimes under my arm or on my neck after ovulation that last two or three days after my period starts. I have gone to my doctor and I was always told it looked like heat rash. This time I had the rash from after ovulation and It still has not gone away. My OB set me a appointment with a allergist and also believes this may be the problem. My question is if this is the case and I do have APD, how can they treat it so I can have a pregnancy without miscarriage? Thank you
