I Have Constant Pain In My Groin That Goes Down

I have constant pain in my groin that goes down the outside and front of my leg to my knee. This pain is so bad that it is debilitating. I feel like it is effecting my knee now (with a burning, throbbing sensation) where in the beginning it seemed to throb more down the back of my thigh, where as now it is definitely effecting the front of my thigh into the groin area. I do take muscle and back pain relief caplets and they do give me a bit of relief. My doctor prescribed Naproxen 250mg as well as Aventyl 10mg, however neither of them helped my condition. It is keeping me awake at night and I find mornings are more difficult as it is a challenge to physically try to get out of bed without experiencing absolute excruciating pain. Just wondering if this is something you are familiar with and can pass on your professional advise. Many thanks!!
