I have dentures and twice in recent months I have had a blocked salivary gland in the exact same spot next to one of my posts to hole my lower dentures in. I have been to my dentist both times and I am given a round of antibodies to take. After several days it gets better but it requires that I leave my lower denture out for several days. Is there something I can do to avoid this painful problem?
