I Have Experienced A Throbbing In My Neck

Since last night I have experienced a throbbing in my neck. It is not muscle pain, but seems like the artery in my neck (cartoid????) is hurting with each heart beat. Its the artery in your neck where you feel your pulse at. Other wise I feel fine, no shortness of breath , no chest pain , dizziness , or anything.

Although I may be late answering such a serious question, here is what I have learned: If you're not a medical doctor, then don't take chances. The body shows signs of failure in the strangest places. Seven months ago my foot was swollen, and I couldn't figure out why. I soaked it, I elevated it, but still it remained swollen for about 5 days. On day number six, I had a heart attack. When I spoke with my doctor, he said the foot swelling was an indicatation that I had a blockage in my heart. Who would have associated the two symptoms, unless he or she were a doctor? Get your neck checked out by a professional.
