I have experienced stomach acid pain my entire adult life, on both sides of my stomach, particularly the left side which feels like a lot of acid constantly releasing in my stomach all day every day; passing gas (like water) provides momentary relief but the acid never ends and has restricted my physical mobility resulting in stomach cramps along with a burning sensation. I have good bile movements and have had numerous scopings along with visits to numerous stomach specialists. Regardless of what I eat or drink, the excessive acid is with me 24/7. I am 64 years old and have had this problem since my mid-teen years. I have been diagnosed with diverticulosis, IBS, hiatal hernia, spastic colon and nervous stomach. I am looking for some new ideas since numerous medications have been of no help. My entire body burns with this acid which cannot be a good thing.
