I have felt unwell since a TIA 5 years ago.
Have had/still have sinusitis, surgery 4years ago.
GPs have diagnosed, anxiety, eating disorder? Ect. Treatment offered has been a referral to a councillor or suggestions of antidepressants (have tried, don't help, am still sick)
I had a 2cm SCC removed from my left cheek 3-4 years ago, after a councillor pushed the GP to do a biopsy.
3 weeks ago I had a lump removed from my left ear after 3 appointments over 6 months of returning to the same medical practice about the problem. I pushed for a biopsy, 3 weeks later....
The lump was a KA.
I'm female, 36 years, 176cm, 59kg, mother of two children, 11years and 7years
A week before my period feel very sick,mostly anaemic (iron supplements not helpful as have been diagnosed with hemacromatosis), regular periods, bleed constantly when on contraceptive.
Grandmother died mid 40's bowel cancer, grandfather also had Bowel cancer.
Is there a test or MRI that I should ask my GP for in relation to constant head pressure, vertigo and the constant painful lump on my brow (that looks very much like the KA removed from my ear)
The GP that took the KA biopsy has offered to write a referral for a colonoscopy, next available appointment, which is usually 3-5 weeks wait with any GP at the available medical centre. I can't find a doctor that could be bothered with me.
I will see specialist in regard to the colonoscopy.
My head pain/pressure really worries me. I feel weak/fatigued. Every blood test I have had, the one MRI or a couple of biopsys clearly shows there is an underlying problem, high white cell, low iron, TIA,SCC, KA.
I have private health insurance, I will pay for a test, I want to feel well again, I am so sick of being sick!!!!!
