I Have Frequent Nocturnal Leg Cramps, Daily Tingling, Occasional Numbness

I have frequent nocturnal leg cramps, daily tingling, occasional numbness in my legs. I am a 70 yr old woman, walk 3 miles briskly daily, play golf 3 X weekly, am 5'2 and weigh 140. I have been diagnosed several years ago with Essential Tremors. Today I sat for about 20 minutes at a meeting, stood up to move, and experienced sharp pain in the upper inside of my left leg and it would not support me nor move. I stood on my right leg holding the back of my chair and could not put weight on that leg. This lasted about 5 minutes. I sat down and after another 5 minutes and several attempts to stand, all symptoms disappeared. I was scared.
