I have had 5 previous spine and neck surgeries with metal implants. multiple rods, plates, screws and wire have been installed over the last 20 years. I have been having a horrible metallic taste in my mouth for the last few years. None of my doctors seem to be able to figure out what causes this. I was wondering if it is possible to have a metal allergy to my implants they may cause this reaction. any thoughts?
