I Have Had A GFR Consistently In The 50's For

I have had a GFR consistently in the 50's for about the past 15 months. Recent creatinine 1.3; No NSAIDS, nephrotoxic drugs, ANA is negative. So a recent ultrasound showed mild thinning bilaterally of the renal cortex. Seeing a nephrologist in the near future. So......etiology of the renal insufficiency, cortical thinning??
