I Have Had A Chronic Cough For Many Years With

I have had a chronic cough for many years with a lot of phlem. It's the worst when I wake up or after eating. Recently noticed what appears to be a small whitish tubular shaped mass hanging down in my throat underneath one to sil. When I was in my late teens in got throat infections very often, many times a year and that one tonsil has been about twice the size of the other since then and I believe that's when the chronic cough started. The lymph node behind my ear on that side also feels slightly larger than normal for many years. I am 33 now. What is this?
