I Have Had A Ear Infection For Two Weeks Now.

I have had a ear infection for two weeks now. FIrst they thought it was a middle ear infection treated with antibiotics, after four days it was getting worse so I went back to the doctors then they thought it was swimmers ear took a culture and changed the antibiotics and drops so four days after that I was in so much pain the doctor referred me to a ear nose throat doctor that used a device and suctioned all the stuff in my ear out and told me it was a fungal infection and that I had a small hole in my eardrum. He gave me drop that caused me so much pain in my ear I felt like it was melting inside my ear into my throat and the top of my mouth. THat I had to take a pain pill everytime I used those drops and I was also prescribed a pill that was a anti fungal medication. My fist culture came back as a fungal infection my second culture came back as a bacterial infection. Today I woke up and had drainage coming out of my ear and so much pressure I felt like I did at the beginning so no progress after all this time. I am really starting to worry I might have permanent hearing loss after all this time.
