I Have Had A Sore Throat And Cold For Over

I have had a sore throat and cold for over a week, 3 days ago my left ear blocked up, and last night/today my left eye has started weeping I'm also regularly coughing up dark green flem oerticularly at night. Went an appointment with a nurse practitioner yesterday as my doctor was full/busy. She said there's nothing we can give you you may be like this for a week or so. I've tried sudafed, vics vapour rub, olbas oil and been a steam room for 30 mins twice but nothing is shifting it and I'm starting to feel tired? Am j right in thinking I have some sort of infection and it could be treated with antibiotic Any advice on what's up with me or how I can get over it would be a great help
