I Have Had Back Surgeries In The Past. My Doctor

I have had back surgeries in the past. My Doctor believes the pain I'm experiencing now is due to scar tissue since the MRI I had didnot reveal any other disc problems. He want me to get injections to break up the scar tissue. How successful is this type of procedure?
