I have had both knees replaced and they have been great it's been almost 10 years now. In March of this year my left Fibula broke about 3 " about my ankle and was put in boot cast. While in boot cast my Tibula broke in almost same location. I have had more than my share of steroid injection in my knees, back and shoulder. I have 3 back surgeries in 8 months in 2015 and 2016 all because Insurance would not approve hardware in Dec of 15 and in Aug of 16 Insurance would not approve hardware for lower spine that Dr requested and used a cheaper brand 9 days later I lost the use of my right leg due to hardware moving and on 9/11/16 Dr got hardware he wanted the 1st time and did surgery again. Issue now is left ankle in laying to the inside bad even with brace the swelling is bad. Is there a device that I can put on my ankle to help with swelling and pain , I do not want another surgery and I am 64 years old.
