I have had chronic ulcerative colitis for 36 years. My new gastro doc says I must have been mis diagnosed because he sees no evidence. He stopped Ascol last year after good scope. He said this year again he thinks I have been mis diagnosed for 36 years, many doctors,many colonoscopies later. Should I find a new doctor? I have always been told it is treatable but not cureable. Iwas on Prednisone and 6MP for more than 10 years between them. I think I am in remission, not cured. What do you think?
