I Have Had Discomfort In My Neck/throat Area Maybe. Nothing

I have had discomfort in my neck/throat area maybe. nothing when I swallow, as I know strep etc. I have been told I have nodules on my thyroid. Test come back normal. Sometimes I have a hoarse voice, especially when I talk a lot and its a bit more painful. Suggestions?
