I have had fibromyalgia since I had my first child 32 years ago. Is this common? I wasn't diagnosed for over 15 years. I am now 58 years old. I have a classic case with all the symptons. All the tendor points except for the knees but I have them on the sides also. By my bra area and on the side of my hips. Do you know if others have them on the sides as well? I weigh 142 and am 5'3'' and now struggle to keep my weight down as I have gotten older.
