I Have Had Lower Left Side Pain For About 2

I have had lower left side pain for about 2 weeks. Not getting better. Rectal bleeding for 1 week prior. I am not having complete bowel movements. Pain decreases while lying down. No fever. I have been examined. Smallvtear in colon. I have a colonoscopy in a week. What should I be prepared for?
