I have had muted hearing and high pitched noises/ringing in my right ear for weeks at a time for awhile now. Also have had a slight autophony discomfort throughout these periods of hearing loss. I have had the muted hearing/ringing/autophony for as long as 4 weeks at a time .. Then it goes away for a weekd or two and then ita back. My left ear is completely normal... When im not in a weird phase of the ringing and muted hearing i still wake up in the morning with fullness and muted hearing for around 2 hours then it goes away for the rest of the day. But when its at its worst , then it is a all day thing. I try to eat healtly i exercise daily because of my job but i do smoke cigarettes which may be the cause , i dont know yet... This has been very frustrating i have tried everything possible to fix it. Over the counter mucus relief and ibuprofen doesnt help.. Cotton swabs made it worse. When the autophony starts to go away my right ear will crack and make odd noises very loudly when i yawn or burp which eventually leads to me being able to hear again and talk normally without my own voice loudly ringing in my head. Very scary and weird process i have been going through
Dont know if im going deaf in my right side or if there is a easy solution thanks
