I Have Had Ovarian Cysts In Past And Have Had

I have had ovarian cysts in past and have had surgery to remove them. Lately been experiencing same symptoms so went to gyno. They did pap smear and called almost week later and said had bacterial infection. Didn't go into detail just prescribed azithromycin and cleocin. What kind of infection could it be? Could it have been caused by my husband switching from anal to vaginal without washing?
