I Have Had Pain In Left Upper/central Abdomen To About

I have had pain in left upper/central abdomen to about 3 months. Sore to press/touch. Age 54. Female. Gallbladder already removed. Some history of gastritisi but probably more concerned that a number of family members all died of pancreatic cancer. Doc gave me omoeprazole. Waiting for gastroscope. Any thoughts?
