I have had recent changes in GI tract and response. My stools have become very soft and there seems to be almost always something there to expel when I go to the bathroom, I have to be careful if I pass gas because it is likely that stool will accompany it. I am having mucous discharge with flatulence and if I eat something with roughage like a salad I get trapped gas and bloating that is not relieved until the morning. This has been going on for about 3 weeks or more. I have never suffered from IBS and am 60 yo. My mother did have colon cancer and I am scheduled for my 5 year colonoscopy but that is not until October.
