I have had severe pain in my left heel area for the past 3 weeks increasing in intensity. I am 69 years old still working as an RN. I wore sandals all summer and am flat footed and over weight. The pain became unbearable and had x-rays showed no fractures,11/04/2015. I am on vacation. I was put on a medrol pack for 6 days with some improvement. Rest and elevation have helped. I am on crutches. I will need to back to work soon. Any suggestions ?? Thank you. Marlene
