I have had white, thick vaginal discharge that has not cleared up after a mono stat treatment. That usually works for me. After three weeks with this discharge I am now experiencing lower back pain. I thought it was a kidney infection but the pain subsides when I lay on my tummy, sleep. The pain can be so great I can not walk without assistance of a wall, chair etc. naproxen helps. I have had a hysterectomy three years ago. I do get frequent yeast infections( every three months) that clear up with the use of mono stat. I have not experienced this type of infection with pain before. I have not done any strenuous activity to bring on back pain (skeletal). It feels like ky kidneys are aching. Two months ago I started the Atkins diet, less than 40 grams of carbs per day. I lost 16 pounds so far. I am still obese at 291. I have started taking Azo yeast treatment three days ago. I hope I gave you enough info so you can help me determine if I should see a doctor at the walk in or treat myself with mono stat again.
