I Have High Blood Pressure And Just Found Out That

I have high blood pressure and just found out that I am pregnant with my 4th child. I think I'm only a few weeks and plan to make an appointment soon. I stopped taking my blood pressure medicine over a year ago because it makes my chest hurt, all kinds of different medications I have tried have the same result. I'm scared to go to the doctor because I think they will admit me due to my blood pressure and pregnancy. My bp stays slightly elevated about 145/90. How should I handle this?
