I Have Irritated Taste Buds On Top And On The

I have irritated taste buds on top and on the tip of my tongue. I think most of the problem is from the tongue scraping the back of my teeth where there is a metal bridge attached to two of my teeth holding one false tooth in place. The dentist had a difficult time getting the wires properly glued into place and it is very rough and one wire is coming loose. How to I treat the taste buds,,,they are quite uncomfortable?
