I Have Jus Started Nortriptyline On A 10mg Dose. I

I have jus started nortriptyline on a 10mg dose. I have taken them two nights now and each time I have awoke about 4-5 hrs later with my heart pounding like mad and my head throbbing. I see these could be side effects so I am going to stop them and see my Dr on Monday. Could the symptoms be caused by the medication??
