I Have Microhematuria And A Small Renal Cortical Calcification In

I have microhematuria and a small renal cortical calcification in my right kidney that is atrophic and non functioning. I have had pain in my back, in the area the kidney would be and sometimes it goes around to the front. I went to a new MD and he said I have a strained muscle. The pain has been going on for 3 months and it keeps me awake at night. I am going thru physical therapy and it does not help. Should I go back to the Urologist to see if it is my kidney? I have had 3 bouts of this type of pain in the past. It has never lasted this long.
