I have missed my period by 10 days so far, I'm 44 years old and had a tubal ligation 23 years ago. Several Urine pregnancy tests came back negative. I'm bloated (waistband is tight) and feel the need to urinate frequently. I have a doctors appointment next week, but wondered if it was safe to take a laxative to maybe relieve the bloat feeling even though I am not technically constipated.
