I have never had a UTI. 10 day ago I had a very uncomfortable pap smear. The doctor realized it hurt me and apologized. She said my vaginal area was very small and she did have to use the medical device used during pelvic exams. I was OK after the initial discomfort. However, I developed pain the next day and I still have it 9 days later. I have a lot of pain that starts when I am almost finished urinating and last for several seconds after completion. The first 3-4 days I had a pink tinge when i would wipe but not present now. I also do not have any signs of infection just very painful and more frequent urination. I have called and left messages at my MD office but no response. Any help would be appreciated.
