I Have Noticed Lately That My Hair Is Thinning Faster

I have noticed lately that my hair is thinning faster than normal. I am on symvastin for cholesterol and omeprosole for reflux. Am I missing something or what could be the problem. I do lose a lot over the coarse of the day lately too.But I can tell looking at my scalp it's thin.
