I Have Noticed That When I Open My Mouth There

I have noticed that when I open my mouth there is on the underside of my tounge bolow the gum line hard mass forming on both sides of my lower jaw left and right side tward the front of the mouth.. Should I see a dr. ?? It does not hurt but since Christmas it has doubled in size.
