I Have Problem Standing Up When I Sit For A While

Hi, I am 35yrs unmarried girl. My problem is that every time I sit I am having problem to stand up again. I experience problem in my knees. I am of 5feet and my weight is 46kg. Even while climbing the ladders there is cracking sound in my knees. The pain increases during periods as my knees tend to swell that time. What could be the cause..what to do?

Hi,
As mentioned you have pain in both knee more on putting pressure ie getting up from squatting and climbing upstairs along with signs of crepts n intermittent effusion . These could be signs of osteoarthritis either primary or secondary .
So you need to visit orthopaedic clinic and according to clinical examination n investigation including xray finding treatment can be started . Till u reach clinic take analgesic (NSAID) With muscle relaxant n PPI along with warm compression , rest, local liniment application .
Hope it ll help.

Thanks n regards
