I have sinus infection. burning in both nostrils, headache, face hurts, nauseated. need to know safest antibiotic for this. I was put on Levofloxacin 500 mg. called doctor office yesterday as feeling worse after taking 1 pill for 5 days. Received 5 more pills of same. I read the info on it and I am having several allergic reactions and taking Benedryl. I did not read info before so was not aware what was going on with me. Not taking this ever again. I am allergic to a lot of drugs so usually read all about them before taking but my husband had not saved the printout last week. I had sinus surgery 12 years ago and have not had to take antibiotics often for sinus since then. I think Tetracycline is one I took years ago.
